One of the owlets seems to be a bit more mature or independent and will be near but not touching Mama Owl. The other one seems more shy and stays out of view of my camera most of the time… but I was able to get a few snaps, this is the best one…

In my youth, I worked at a pet store that had Macaws, Eclectus, Sun Conures, and other colorful beautiful birds. And I had a cockatiel at home… so watching this very large bird of prey preen itself was rather interesting, also the little owlet seems to be practicing stretching their wings… I hope you find it interesting too…
