I drew this a few days ago, practicing the orb-type flower (a tangle called Tagh). I just let my muse do what she wanted and I was very happy with the process and the outcome (other tangles used: paradox, shattuck, and seedways).

It’s been a tough year, so it’s been nice to get back to drawing again. The pups are doing well, and we are doing our best to enjoy every moment we have with them. They both have cancer (Duke has hemangiosarcoma, Penny has cutaneous lymphoma), and both have received chemo treatments (Penny will be on chemo pills forever, Duke has finished his 4 injections). Now we just enjoy the time we have left with these little cuties.

EDIT: After some input from my Zentangle teacher and some of my own insights, I’ve updated the drawing…
