Friday morning I received a flu shot and a covid booster… and they kicked my butt. Basically, I’ve spent the last few days just sleeping, reading, napping, and eating. In addition to the pain at the injection site, and the fatigue that I expected… I also had joint pain (especially in my hands), lower back pain, and a headache. So I haven’t been in the headspace to draw since Friday morning. I’m currently working on refining page 6 of the 24hour comic, but I’m not sure I’ll finish it today. But I wanted to drop a little check-in for those curious about my long absence during Inktober.

I’m feeling much better today and hope to get some drawing in.
