Here’s my original drawing…

.
Hey guys, I took a week off after Halloween… then I started working on pg 9. Normally, I take the month of November off from drawing after Inktober to refill my artistic cup. I didn’t refine the pages of my comic as fast as I thought I would and I’m really starting to feel the slog of it all.
I keep oscillating between finishing the refining of the comic over time, or just calling it finished and publishing the original drawings so that you all can read the rest of the comic. To be honest it’s not that interesting of a story, I know that, but it was an exercise in coming up with a story and drawing it in a very short amount of time (in 24hours), it never was intended as a polished project. I presumed that I would be able to clean up the pages during the month of October and it would give me practice. It has given me practice, to be sure, but it has also revealed to me that I still need to work on my foundations. Which would imply that I just need to keep going and it takes as long as it takes. That said, the story itself wasn’t intended to be read over such a long period of time… really, it’s a quick read, and giving each page a week or more attention is really too much time to spend on the page as a reader. So that’s where I’m at… continue in the practice/learn mode… or just release the story so that the readers aren’t bored… giving me the opportunity to work on a different project. Like I said, I keep oscillating… and I haven’t decided yet. If you have a preference, let me know in the comments.
Until next time
