One of the many nicknames we used to lovingly refer to Penny as was the Chaos Bringer… life has been strangely quiet without her. My muse has been quiet as well. 

A little over a week ago, I was introduced to an art streamer who’s community has woken up my muse. Suddenly, in only a week, I had 5 drawings, 3 of which were fully rendered… I haven’t been that productive since Inktober! Over the weekend, I have also drawn a comic!

The stream is full of a fun, feral community, who have inspired me to embrace the chaos and run with it. The stream is called the Chaotic Draw Along and the streamer is Anthony Wheeler. Anthony streams M-F 2-5 PT, so I have been treating it like a 3-hour class that I attend each weekday.

Each Friday, they collaborate to come up with the Chaotic Draw Along Prompt, and we all draw our version of it and then share it on Discord, then Anthony shows our art and comments and we all have fun. 

My first Friday, the prompt was Pirate Snail… I drew 4 versions.

On Wednesdays, they do something similar, but it’s called Daily Stream Warm-up, where Anthony draws cards from the Chaotic Draw Along Deck, for us to draw some kind of weird mashup. It’s been fun and inspiring, the community is so welcoming.

My first Wednesday, there were three prompts, each given after we had drawn and erased in an effort to mash them together… the prompts were Witch, Unicorn, Owl.

I have been having so much fun! I suddenly have ideas for adding things to my Redbubble store, it’s nice to have my muse inspired again.

I’ll put the comic I drew this weekend in the next post to reduce the number of pieces of art per post.
