Today Mama Owl and the owlets hid in the shadows the entire hour I was watching… through the magic of post processing we can see what’s going on in there…

Looks like mostly sleeping… I like looking at the little feet of the owlets when they are sitting, so cute. The best photo of the hour is the last photo I took (5/5 in the slideshow), if you look closely in the shadows both owlets are looking out.

Not a very productive photoshoot today, but that happens sometimes. I had lots of great conversations with the people who stopped by to talk to me today, so it was still a good day.

I’m trying to make sure I take a look each day because I have a feeling they will be gone soon based on last year’s events. The owlets don’t seem to be testing out the edge yet, but when they do it is only a matter of time before I think they will move to a tree and I won’t be able to see them anymore.
