Hey guys, just a quick update on the OwlWatch…

I’ve upgraded my blog so that uploading videos isn’t an immediate storage problem. I need to make sure I don’t fill up the storage quickly though.

I have video and photo footage from the 17th, 19th, 21st, and 22nd to go through.

I’m currently trying to quickly learn a new-to-me video editing software (DaVinci Resolve), I was using iMovie but kept bumping up against wanting to do something with the video and the program not being able to do it. I’m hoping to make better videos, but more importantly to have a better workflow so that it isn’t so arduous to do a thing. I’ve already completed 1.5 lessons in DaVinci Resolve and I feel it’ll be more granular and will allow me to do the things I want to do easier… we’ll see.

Oh and in silly news… my husband has helped me come up with a cute portmanteau for the Feb-March OwlWatch….

But enough about me…

The owls are growing and practicing flapping… Mama Owl leaves for extended periods of time and the Owlets hide really well… it’s all so cute and I can’t wait to show you all the wonders happening in that cave!

This is one of my favorite photos from March 17th… Mama Owl has taught one of the Owlets to give me dirty looks too… ahahahaha…

The sooner I learn the new software, the sooner I can publish the next set of footage. So I better get back to learning.
