Hey guys! I think I’m getting a bit better at DaVinci Resolve, and I like how much more granular it is that I can really pick the frame to cut rather than get an approximation. Much more to learn, but I think my current knowledge is serviceable at the moment. I’ve compressed about 2 hours of footage down to 4¹⁄₂ minutes of video.

Ok… this video is from March 21, 2024… the owlets are almost 5 weeks old here. Mama Owl flies away and the Owlets start to explore outside the cave a bit. I also captured one of the Owlets spiting up a pellet.

Did you know that Owls spit up pellets? Owls tend to eat their prey whole or in large pieces, and the parts of the food that isn’t digestible gets formed into a pellet that they spit back out. The pellet can consist of fur, bones, plant material, etc. For more info you can check out these two sources (Audubon, AllAboutBirds).
