Hey guys, time has disappeared! I can’t believe August is almost over! I haven’t been as prolific in my drawing as I’d like to be, but I am catching up on sleep and getting other things done, so I guess that’s still a win.

Today’s show -n- tell is fun… I’ve attended several live online classes and below you can see three draw-alongs. Also I started working on my comic again and I’m making some headway…

The Blob Birds was a fun exercise in creating from blobs and then adding a folkart-inspired theme to them (Peggy Dean). The Swirly Fish I learned some cool techniques for adding texture (The Artmother). And the Bear was the most fun, we were learning how to pose a character, I always learn so much from Lisa Glanz’s classes. For the Autobiographical Comic, I dug around and found some old photos so I could get a feel for my hair style at that time, hahaha my hair was always changing back then. I also found some good photos of the pets to use as reference.

In puppy news…

Duke is still doing well, he still finds the energy to say hi to his human and canine friends, so we are just enjoying every extra day we get.

Somehow it’s already late in the afternoon and I still have much to do today…
