Hey guys! My little project turned into quite the journey. I thought it might be fun to try another way of getting an idea thru prompts. This time I went searching for descriptor words I thought I might be able to draw and animals I thought I might be able to draw. Then I made a few lists and rolled the dice. I came up with: Clumsy Skunk.

I spent quite a bit of time looking for a reference of clumsy that I thought might go with a skunk and ended up abandoning that idea and just had a skunk smelling a flower by the end of yesterday evening. I wasn’t really happy with it, it was stiff and boring.

So this morning I went searching again, and no, I just couldn’t come up with ‘cute’ or ‘funny’ clumsy skunk… so I thought, “what if the skunk was gracefully smelling the flower?”. So I went searching for warrior 3 yoga pose, but that wasn’t quite what I wanted… so I looked up ballet poses… and I didn’t quite see what I was looking for either…

Then… I found this image…

I laughed thinking, “that would be an awesome way to pose while smelling a flower”… the more I tried to find something else, the more I wanted to try to draw this pose…

So… hours later… I drew a skunk smelling a flower in the most silly and graceful way!…
