Hey guys! I *might* be doing too many things at once…
I signed up for a Sketchbook Bootcamp (a 6-week course, Nov 2 – Dec 13, 2024) and the warmup prompts were given this week. I also am trying to finish the autobiographical comic. AND it is still Inktober. Meanwhile, there are still a few live on-line classes that I attend weekly. My muse is ALL OVER THE PLACE… but it’s ok because I’m having fun being creative.
So for show ‘n tell, starting from the bottom and working our way to the top… I drew this little bunny a little while ago when I was trying to figure out what to do next for inktober… this bunny led to the drawings of the bear with scarf, mouse in pjs, and the deer in a cozy sweater. The lemon frog was a draw-along with Adriann Mai on Thursday where we learned how to create making cut-outs and using stamps (in Procreate). Next up is the autobio comic I’ve been working on (for seemingly months now)… I need to add shadows and highlights on that last colored panel and then ink and color the last panel… then I’ll be done — wooo! The next three drawings are part of the warmups for the sketchbook bootcamp… I’m still working on the physical pieces — the zen stick figure one I want to ink and watercolor… and the person dipping their hands in water I need to add more layers of watercolor. The image on the top left was drawn in Procreate and then I cleaned it up and printed it on watercolor paper. So lots of projects in WIP status… I guess I’m also counting the two physical pieces as Inktober? I don’t know anymore… I’m just letting my muse have fun.

Well, I better get back to it.
Until next time…
