This was a journey. I thought it would be a fun little one page comic that I could do quickly… it ended up taking months, and I went on a roller coaster ride of emotions doing this project. I think I *needed* to do the project, but it was painful at times, joyful at others. I actually finished the drawing almost two weeks ago, but it took some time to gather and collage the photos of all the furbabies. Unfortunately, I don’t have any photos of Thomas (teddybear hamster) or Indigo (Beta fish), but I had quite a selection of the other eight kiddos. Enjoy (click to enlarge)…
