This has been an interesting week of learning. A bit of animation, some sketchbook bootcamp prompts and a workshop, and a little doodle that I turned into a continuous pattern.
Animation
The live online class that I attended on Friday was going to be working with Procreate Dreams. I haven’t been playing around with animation in far too long, I think it was just before the Owls showed up when I was playing around with animating the ants. Anyway, to prep for the live draw-along, I sought out some Procreate Dreams classes. Design Cuts (edit: Design Cuts no longer exists) has a couple of classes and one of them is instructed by my Sketchbook Bootcamp teacher (heart balloon), so I decided to start with that one so that I would have some of the basics down by Friday. Of course, life got in the way and I wasn’t able to get as far along as I had wanted, but made a valiant effort keeping up in the live class on Friday (snow).
Let’s see if these files will work here…
So still beginner stuff, but fun.
Sketchbook Bootcamp
Week 4 of sketchbook bootcamp had some nice prompts and I really like the umbrella. The workshop on Saturday was interesting, but I had a migraine at the time so I just watched and took notes rather than draw-along, I’ll probably watch the replay later and draw-along then…
Pattern
Saturday night I was still feeling yucky with a migraine that wasn’t going away with medication. I put a koool thingy on my forehead and started to make a pattern (using a template) inspired by my drawing weeks ago. My head felt a bit better after drawing, and I had this cute pattern afterwards (click to enlarge)…

.
Until next time…
