Workshop Week, Day 4…

Hey all! Wow I’ve done 4 days now of Workshop Week. I have to admit that I’m running out of steam… but I’m still having fun. Long time readers probably remember that I don’t sleep well, so lack of sleep plus 9 workshops a day for 4 days has worn me down a bit. (Also I’m in the Pacific Time Zone, so classes start at 6am for me.) I’m tired, but happy. Tomorrow is a half day, so I think I’ll have enough energy to finish out the week. But before I loose momentum, let me get these drawings out there.

Once again, I did all my drawings in Procreate even though all but the last class was taught in traditional media.

Today’s schedule…

.

I was super tired this morning, so I just watched the first three workshops while sipping coffee and eating breakfast. I purchased the vault, so I’ll definitely be going back to the perspective drawing class and giving that a go.

Next we had a Mindfulness Break with Paul Antonio… it involved calligraphy with breathing… it was pretty interesting, I’ll definitely be checking out the course materials more closely when I get a chance. But I was able to do this during class…

.

This next class was so much fun… drawing all the loops in a bird outline was pure joy…

.

Terry is such a fun teacher, and I loved how her cats made sure they were part of the class too. This was a fun class…

.

This was a bit of a challenge since I was doing this digitally, but I did my best to pretend that I too was using acrylic paint…

.

I was definitely running out of steam by the time we did this class. Which is unfortunate because I love to do line work. I kinda need to see the reference of the flowers, I think, to make this a bit easier for me. I’ll definitely be coming back to this and watching the replay. But here’s what I was able to do in class…

.

[EDIT] Ooops! I forgot Gia’s class! Ahhhh! Gia Graham is why I even found out about Workshop Week *face palm* Sorry Gia :/

I actually watched and drew two projects from Gia’s class prior to the Live event… I blogged about them here. But here’s what they looked like…

.

Ok that’s all I have for today. I’m going to go wind down and put on comfy clothes. Until next time…
