Lettering and Flowers…

Hey all!

Apparently after Workshop Week, my muse decided she wanted to practice lettering. I kept imagining breathing along with letter strokes as I was falling asleep. So I got the idea that ‘the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog’ would be a good thing to practice my letters, without it feeling as boring as a,b,c…etc. Then I looked it up and ‘the quick brown fox…’ is called a pangram, a sentence that uses every letter of the alphabet at least once. Then I wondered… what are some other pangrams?

I found a site that had some pangrams listed, so I decided to use those to practice my lettering…

Soon, my muse wanted to color again… so I used some photos we took lately and painted some flowers in Procreate on the iPad. (The names of the flowers were obtained from Apple’s lookup feature on the iPhone.) These were fun, and a nice meditative getaway…

That’s all I have for now… until next time…
