Hey All!

I woke up at 4:45 am today… on purpose! What?!! We are trying to shift our schedule, so we’ll be getting up that early for the next few days… which means bedtime is in less than an hour… wtf?

So this will be a quick one…

I had fun drawing leaves today… I think I was channeling my inner Zentangle, and I’ve missed doing this kind of line work.

Then I tried to use these new leaves with the Squirrel and the Ogee pattern… I’m just not feeling it. I think I’m just not into symmetry… which I tried first and didn’t like and deleted.

I like asymmetry and flow and chaos… so I tried to do that, but I still don’t like it, it feels like I put stickers in an ogee pattern which is not what I want. It just doesn’t have a flow.

So I’ll try something else with these motif elements tomorrow. Maybe I just don’t like the ogee pattern, it just isn’t “me”. I don’t know, it’s late and maybe I’ll have more ideas tomorrow.
