Hey All!

This is a super quick check-in. After setting my Squirrel Pattern aside, I asked my muse what she wanted to work on next… and she kept pulling me towards a book I bought years ago thru a kickstarter that I haven’t had the time to read. Why not now? Ok, now sounds good.

It’s called Draw Like a Boss by Ashley Edge, and it’s a gamified adventure that teaches you how to draw.

Lately I’ve been trying to get back into reading, and I’m doing pretty good. Reading a little bit each night. But reading an artist self-help book of tips or a novel is a bit different from reading a ‘learning’ book (for lack of a better term). So finishing a chapter requires a bit more focus… but I’ve finished the intro and part of chapter 1 (I’d say about 30 pages).

I did a little warm-up… but my brain is full and I’m ready to call it a day…
