Hey All!

24-hr Comics Day is the first weekend in October, it’s a day where you draw 24 pages of a comic in 24 hours.

Back in 2023, I made an attempt… I sketched 24 pages in 28 active hours over 4 days… then for Inktober I inked the first 9 pages… but was overwhelmed by the size of the project and my skill set didn’t meet my ideas. I went ahead and posted the whole comic partially inked back then.

Last year, I didn’t do the challenge, it was a hard time for me as I was mourning and just trying to keep up with Inktober.

This year, I decided that I wasn’t going to push myself to do 24 pages, or even 24 panels… just do a comic as best I can and see what happens.

So I thought I’d show you what I’ve got so far… I decided to expand on an idea I had back in June 2024… after 3 active hours I have a layout and a sketch (click to enlarge).

In an attempt to show my work, I thought it would be fun to add the Procreate-created timelapse.

So now I need to decide if I’m going to continue to clean up the sketches, or work on Day 5 of Inktober… guess I’d better get to it.
