Hey All!

Yesterday I worked on the 24-hr Comics Day comic, I also did a little bit on the Buttercup drawings… but rather than post twice yesterday, I decided to put the Buttercup images in one post today.

Today I continued working on water coloring the Buttercups, and inked one of the practice drawings.

First I realized that the flowers looked a bit more peach rather than yellow/orange… so I added an additional layer of a yellow wash, then I inked the one on the left…

I’ll add more layers tomorrow, and then possibly ink it. It’s been awhile since I’ve done watercolor, I’m not used to the time it takes to dry between layers. But it’s still a very fun project.
