Hey All!

I had planned to paint more, but I have a headache so I’m going to go grab a cup of tea and hang out on the couch tonight.

But before I go, I thought I’d show you what I’ve done.

The masking fluid arrived today, I bought a latex-free version of Pēbēo. It contains BIT, which I had to look up and I think it’s Benzisothiazolinone… which also has allergy warnings. Why are art supplies trying to kill us?

Anyway…

I also purchased some silicone sculpting tools to apply the masking fluid with (so that I don’t ruin a paintbrush). It applied pretty easily with this tool.

Now I just need to wait for it to dry, then paint over it, wait for that to dry… then peal off the masking fluid. But that’s for Tomorrow-Me to do, because headache*…

*Oh, I guess I should clarify that the headache isn’t from the masking fluid. I thought I’d take the trash out while the masking fluid dried and for some reason the hallways were very strong with cleaning solution scent… pretty sure that’s where the headache came from. 🫤
