I have to admit that I might have too much on my plate right now, and it’s taking me a few days to get back on track. But I’m working through it and I’m trying to not stress out, because it’s supposed to be fun. So, I’ve decided that my new mantra should be…

Everyday is an experiment.

That way I take the pressure off from that voice in my head that tries to steer me towards perfection and burnout.

Soooo… that said…

I was finally able to make some headway on my Daydream project, and I sketched out my Flame Lily on watercolor paper. Yay!

I’m still getting the hang of adding a gradient background, and I really like how it looked once I took the tape off, such nice clean edges…

I also made a little gif…

And I had fun resketching the Flame Lily onto watercolor paper, hopefully I’ll have time tomorrow to paint it…

That’s all I have for today… now I’m off to watch an October movie… woohoo!

Edit: Ooops, I forgot to mention that I also added just a touch of pink to the mouths of the Rosary Peas project, and I think it looks much better…
