Hey All!

Today I played around with swatching and thumbnailing for the Flame Lily drawing…

.

Then I took a photo of the thumbnails and removed saturation to decide which one had the most visibility…

.

It seemed like the one where I had the darkest in the middle and then let it bleed up and down was the best one.

Then I had a moment of, “I don’t want to ruin my drawing”. Then I said, “everyday is an experiment”… and plunged forward…

.

Now I just need to wait for it to dry.

Soooo… it seems like Saturdays are the hardest for me to blog, especially now that Sketchbook Bootcamp has a Live Workshop on Saturdays and lasts 2.5 hours. Also, it’s the last weekend of October, and there are so many October movies I still want to watch. So I was thinking that I’d take this weekend off from blogging.
