Hey All!

Today we got the Sketchbook Bootcamp Prompt #5. I had some ideas and apparently my super power is to think of things that are difficult to find in reference photos.

At some point looking for ‘in awe’ expressions, I ended up looking at a bunch of Calvin and Hobbes cartoon strips. Soo I might have been enjoying those for an extended period of time. And realized that Calvin and Hobbes really has helped me want to create images with lots of expression. You could definitely say that Bill Watterson is an influence.

Anyway… here’s what I have so far… sorry about how light the pencil is I will need to erase it before I paint it so I’m trying to draw lighter… I did try to increase the contrast in the photo…
