Hey All!

So you know how you test and test and test and then at some point you realize you might be hesitating because you’re scared… and then you just throw caution to the wind and and jump in with both feet?

Well that’s what I did with this project.

I watched several youtube videos, swatched, and practiced…

And then just jumped in… it was pretty scary. I went from just a hint of color in my watercolor to full blown ‘straight from the tube’ in places… eeeeeeee.

I added some liquid mask in the areas I thought would be hit by the light and the light source. Then I just started painting. Let it dry and then painted more, let it dry and then took the liquid mask off and then proceeded to try to soften the now very white areas and add more shadows to clean up areas… it’s not a bad first attempt.

I could keep noodling on it… but I think I’m going to call it done…
