Hey All!

First I wanted to say that yesterday got away from me, and I didn’t have much to show… so instead of being formulaic, I decided to wait until I had something to show before posting.

I have two pieces to show today, both of them involve lettering, and both were Sketchbook Bootcamp prompts. I also made a process gif. So without further ado…

First up, we had to make our favorite letter fancy… I asked my husband to tell me his favorite letter and he said Q…

I didn’t really know what I had in mind, I just kinda tinkered until I liked it…

Next up, we were to make letters feel like the word… I decided to try the word, wispy…

I used my new pearlescent watercolors, and I don’t know if you can tell, but the black ink line became blue once I painted it. This one was a little difficult to photograph.

So now my sketchbook spread looks like this…

I’m not sure what triple-D Q wispy space buns means… heeheehee 🤣
