Hey All!

I’m really glad I walked away and let ideas come to me, because this morning I had a few ideas I wanted to try with my Sleepy Sue drawing…

Last night she looked like this…

And I worried about her cheese wedge face shape.

This morning I added a bit of shading with pencil and took a photo. Then I brought that photo into Procreate and played around until I like what she looked like…

Then I tried to replicate those ideas analog-ly…

.

I’m really happy with it, and I’m glad I walked away, thought about it. Practiced and then applied my ideas 🙂

That’s all I have for today. I have a Live Online meetup tomorrow for Sketchbook Bootcamp where we talk about the past 7 weeks’ art adventure. I probably won’t have new art to show from that meeting. Sunday, I’m getting my flu/covid boosters… I’m hoping that I’ll still be able to art, but with both arms being jabbed, I’m not going to make any promises. Hopefully, I’ll be back on Monday with something to show. See you then?
