Hey All!

It was good to take a few days off from posting daily. I did still think of you all, but my energy levels were low and I had to take care of myself first.

I realized that I have been collecting a few things in the last week, so let’s get to it, shall we?

I’ve been hanging out in the Art Nest forum and some of my artwork this week was inspired by conversations or prompts from there.

Some of those things included creating a winter color palette, a conversation about Zentangle, an explanation of how to do the tangle Paradox, and a dream I had of creating a fun and silly version of Paradox.

We were asked to create our version of a winter palette, I decided on dark blues, icy blues, greys and a cream to add a touch of warmth. Then I drew this silly bear to test my colors…

During a discussion with my fellow art nest buddies, Zentangle came up. And thru the discussion I was inspired to make this, my own twist on Paradox…

What is Paradox? was asked, and so I created this little step-out, along with the added fun of noting that where you put your next line in the neighboring section you can create twists or fans. The pattern/tangle is easier with triangles or squares. I also added what it would look like if it was done in a square…

Which lead to a fun dream that inspired me to draw this…
