Hey All!

I spent the better part of the day relearning Procreate Dreams and figuring out how to do the things I was trying to do with my Willow dizzy animation.

I haven’t used Procreate Dreams since the big update, so even though I knew kinda what I wanted to do, the program user interface accessed those processes differently. So I watched the official youtube what’s changed and intro to 2.0 videos. Then I played around.

And I learned quite a few things. One being that the concentric circles don’t have the psychedelic illusion when the circle moves… it really needs to stay in place. Which is one of the things I was wondering what went wrong with my animation last night. Now I know why people use the spinning spirals when the head moves. Now you do too.

So I’m going to keep playing around with working on the ideas for Willow being dizzy part, and then hopefully update that animation with my newfound knowledge. Also if I want to move my animation from Procreate to Procreate Dreams I need to do some reorganizing of my layers… which will take some time.

I wanted to show what I’ve been up to… and I’m feeling a lot better about the hows and whys things didn’t work and possibly how to fix it.
