I’ve quickly gotten to the end of the day and I have quite a bit to show you.

Procreate Bootcamp Workshopn #3

We had a live online workshop on Saturday, we played around with digital junk journaling. I’m not really into colllage, but I did really enjoy the techy side of how to make shadows under things and other things. AND I learned 3 new things in Procreate, even though I’ve been using it for years. So yay to learning new things!

Sketches – in real life

I’m currently reading, “Becoming an Artist” by Scott Christian Sava, and in it he encourages his reader to draw everything, every day. He tells a tale about drawing the same character every day, for 9 years… he got better at drawing that character, but not at drawing anything else. So he suggests encourages, us to draw everything every day. So I thought I’d go to our club room and draw what I saw… I spent 40 min yesterday, and 55 min today… here’s what I drew…

Yesterday when I got home, I wanted to draw more, so I found a cute piglet photo and drew that too…

February Monthly Checkin

Wow it’s already March! Ok… here’s what I was able to do in February…

I completed 1 book, and started 2 more. I went to several live online classes, meetups, workshops. I finished 6 prompts and started 2 others. I also did Willow’s Day for Hourly Comics Day. Drew lots of bean characters. Explored how to take a class project and rework it until it felt more like my style. Oh, and had Willow show us how to do Sun Salutations. It was a very productive month. I’m really liking charting this.. I’m going to keep going.
