Today we had a Deep Dive discussion in Art Nest, we talked about play in our art. Then we had some fun exercises… about 2 minutes each… Draw a mushroom with something exaggerated, with something unexpected, with a pattern, and with personality. These are what I came up with…

I’ve been struggling to get back on track after the time shift and everything… today I went out to sketch in real life again. Unfortunately it was the hottest time of the day, and today’s high was 30ºC (86ºF)! I found a shaded spot outside, but with the bugs and the heat I didn’t last very long… about 10 minutes or so total… but I was able to sketch these…
