I was trying to think of a clever acronym, I came up with Leap And Meow Pounce… and I thought maybe having a cat pounce on a toy mouse… but it felt really involved, so I thought I needed to keep thinking about it. I mentioned it to my husband, and he suggested a street lamp or a genie lamp…

My brain immediately went to a noir scene with a street lamp, and I was thinking of the art of “Seth” (Gregory Gallant) from Lemony Snicket’s All the Wrong Questions series of books. So I was heavily influenced by the art in those books when I drew this…

Tomorrow is our last get together for Procreate Bootcamp, I think I did a fairly good job of keeping up even though I struggled a lot with capacity in March. Somehow it’s already Friday! See you on Monday?
