Hey All!

My muse seems to really want to do sketches right now. I got up early today and decided to start the latest Procreate Bootcamp Prompt (art supplies). I’ve been talking to my friends in Art Nest about short timed interval sketching, and realized I’d gotten out of the habit. So I thought I’d sketch some art supplies while I thought about the prompt. Later I went to the club house, took some photos of the foosball table, and then found a seat and did more interval sketching. It was a good day, with lots of practice, and learning.

Art Supplies

For the art supplies, I found two photos that looked interesting. Then I set up a timer for 30 seconds – I sketched each photo 4 times, then 1 minute, then 5 minutes. Then I set a timer for 5 minutes and drew it from memory. Then I lowered the opacity, and cleaned up that sketch. Then I started painting it.

Foosball Table

For the foosball table, first I took 4 photos from various angles, then I did 30 second sketches of each of the 4 photos (3 times each). I repeated the process for 1 minute, then 5 minutes for two of the photos because I had run out of time and needed to get back home.
