Hey All!

I’ve been working on my mini collection this week… I’ve made some headway.

While I love neon green and dark purple together… I just wasn’t loving this combo in my hero drawing…

So I decided change some colors to go a bit analogous with the color palette…

I was liking this color combo, but unfortunately once I started creating the other pieces, I wasn’t feeling it… to me it seemed too much new baby’s room, not the age group I was going for. I changed the flower to blue… but felt it needed even more…

So I kept tweaking the colors a bit more going more blues and less red-purples…

Now it’s starting to feel like it’s coming together… I have some ideas for two more patterns…

I added a square version of the hero drawing, and soon I’ll have 5 patterns to go with it. I’m also thinking about what these will eventually be on… I have some lists started with ideas for possible ‘surfaces’ to put these on… I’m thinking bedding and pillows, or school supplies like notebooks and backpacks… I’m still working thru many ideas.
