Hey All!
I’ve been kinda busy with other things this month, so even though I thought I’d be able to draw daily, I haven’t had the time. I’m not even sure how to count what I’ve done anymore… am I on day 7 because I’ve only drawn 7 days this month… or do I cound what day of the month it is.. or do I count the number of dragons? and does only the head of a dragon count as a whole number?… I really don’t know, and honestly, it doesn’t actually matter.
What does matter is that I’m learning and having fun. So let’s get to it…
I thought for this week I’d take just the heads of the dragons, so that I can learn them a piece at a time… again these are master studies of Brian Kesinger’s dragons from his book Penned Dragons.
I had a lot of fun drawing and inking these… I was noticing the similarities in the heads and the placement of the eyes to a class I was taking with 21 draw (I need to get back to that class), so it feels like I’m truly learning here. I also bought a new fude nib fountain pen that I played around with and then using a waterbrush for the shadows…
