Hey All!
After finishing the chicken painting, I started playing around with fountain pen ink and today I finished the next class from Karen Campell’s Wobbly to Wow course…. I was all about Karen’s classes and books this week… let’s get to it.
Silly Sally
First up, I had one more watercolor cutie that I had in my queue for practicing flicking… a really cute chicken…

Baby Boos and Spooky Dudes
I attempted some of these last year, but I think I was trying to do too much during Inktober, so I decided to start over and start early this year… kind of a warm up for this year’s Inktober. Karen Campbell’s 31 Days of Baby Boos & Spooky Dudes Book is a fun exploration of fountain pen ink and water brushes. Now that I’m a member of her Awesome Art School Fun Fab Drawing Club, I have access to the VODs as well. I watched the VOD for the first drawing, the house, and I got a better understanding of how to do this technique without making a mess. Then I grabbed my book and just started sketching each one in turn… I’ve gotten to day 6 so far…

Wobbly to Wow
Karen has redone some of her classes and created a Wobbly to Wow series, in which she is releasing one VOD each Sunday… this week’s class was a cute plant… that I had to add faces to, because it needed to be sillier…

.
That’s all I have for this week… see you next time?
Until next time…
